The 2025 TV lineup – Hisense

Hisense’s 2025 lineup is a statement of intent, pushing the boundaries of Mini-LED brightness and screen size.

This year, they have transitioned many of their models to a “Q” suffix (such as the U8QG), signaling a massive jump in processing power thanks to their new AI-driven engines.

The Ultimate Series

(ULED X & Flagships)

The absolute peak of what Hisense can engineer, designed to outperform high-end OLEDs in brightness and impact.

  • Hisense 116UX (116-inch)

The “Godzilla” of the 2025 lineup. This massive display features RGB Mini-LED technology with independent control of red, green, and blue backlights. It hits a mind-bending 8,000 nits of peak brightness and features over 20,000 dimming zones. It’s essentially a professional mastering monitor scaled up to a wall-sized cinema.

  • Hisense U9QG (ULED Mini-LED)

The flagship for “normal” home theaters. Powered by the Hi-View AI Engine X, it uses the same elite processing found in the UX series. It boasts a 165Hz refresh rate and specialized “Ultra LR” panels that virtually eliminate room reflections, making it the king of bright living rooms.

  • Hisense 98UX

A more “attainable” flagship that still packs 10,000+ local dimming zones. It’s designed for those who want the ULED X experience in a size that fits a standard large-room setup without sacrificing the 5,000-nit punch.

The “sweet spot” models where premium technology meets reasonable pricing.

  • Hisense U8QG (Mini-LED Pro)

Known as the “MVP” of the 2025 lineup, the U8QG is the go-to for enthusiasts. It reaches 5,000 nits and features a powerful 4.1.2-channel built-in sound system. With its 165Hz panel and Wi-Fi 6E, it’s a powerhouse for both high-end gaming and cinematic HDR.

  • Hisense U7QG (Mini-LED Pro)

Marketed as the “Game Changer,” this model targets the gaming crowd with a native 165Hz refresh rate and a “Game Booster” mode that can push the panel to 288Hz (at a lower resolution). It’s bright, fast, and features an anti-glare coating that rivals much more expensive sets.

The High-Performance

U-Series

The Value & Mainstream Series

Accessible 4K TVs that bring Mini-LED and QLED technology to a wider audience.

  • Hisense U6QF (Mini-LED)

The entry point into Mini-LED for 2025. Unlike the higher models that run Google TV, the U6QF often features the Fire TV platform, providing a different smart experience. It still hits a respectable 1,000 nits, making it one of the brightest “budget” TVs on the market.

  • Hisense QD7 / QD6 (QLED)

These are Hisense’s high-value QLED models. While they skip the Mini-LED backlighting for standard LED arrays, they use Quantum Dots for vibrant color. The QD7 is particularly interesting for gamers on a budget, offering a 144Hz native refresh rate.

Art-focused and projection-based models for unique home setups.

  • Hisense CanvasTV (S7N Series)

Hisense’s answer to “Art TVs.” It features a Hi-Matte anti-glare panel that makes digital art look like real canvas. In 2025, the lineup expanded to include 75-inch and 85-inch versions. It comes with a magnetic teak frame and a flush wall mount, designed to disappear into your decor.

  • Hisense L9Q (Laser Cinema)

A “Laser TV” that combines a projector with a specialized ambient light-rejecting screen. The 2025 version uses Triple Laser technology to cover 110% of the BT.2020 color space—more colors than almost any physical TV panel can produce.
